New chairman of Dostihovy spolek appointed
On December 22nd, the Board of Dostihovy spolek elected Vladimír Tlučhoř to be its new chairman, replacing Jan Němec, who resigned very recently. Vladimír Tlučhoř is a Pardubice-based veterinary surgeon. Two representatives of the Town of Pardubice, Jiří Rozinek and Štěpánka Fraňková, remain on the Board. Štěpánka Fraňková is the mayor of Pardubice. The new fourth member of the Board is Václav Luka, President of the Jockey Club of the Czech Republic. I think that means that a fifth place on the Board, to be elected by the small shareholders, remains vacant.
