Shamal Sally wins the Oaks, Valldemoso wins at Albertovec
Big meeting at Most

Valldemoso wins the Albertovska Cross-Country again
The meeting out in the Silesian countryside at the Albertovec stud attracted a very big crowd, and as usual provided excellent entertainment. The Category I 5000 metre Albertovska Cross-Country Steeplechase again carried very good prize-money this year, and the race was won again by 2009 winner Valldemoso, after a big struggle with second-paced Juventus. Valldemoso is owned by DS Sendy Ostrava Neuvirt, and trained by Jiri Uhl. He was ridden by Dusan Andres, who had been out for two-and-a-half months with a badly broken arm. Valldemoso also won the feature race at the receent meeting at Svetla Hora. Valldemoso is only 6 years old, and is qualified for the Velka Pardubicka, which will be his target for the autumn.
